Senior Manager - Construction (High-rise)

Responsibilities: overall management of high‑rise construction projects, establishing project objectives, policies and protocols aligned with PMC standards, providing strategic guidance to subordinate managers and supervisors, acting as primary liaison between the employer, clients and design teams, overseeing all phases from pre‑construction budgeting and scheduling through design coordination, procurement, RFI management, construction execution, space turnover and contract closeout, ensuring design‑build integration across multiple floors, maintaining profit‑and‑loss responsibility, coordinating vertical logistics, material hoisting and safety protocols, addressing constructability issues and identifying value‑engineering opportunities while preserving schedule and budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field
• minimum 20 years progressive construction management experience with at least 10 years managing high‑rise or complex multi‑story projects
• experience with full project lifecycle management including pre‑construction, design coordination, procurement, construction execution and closeout
• expertise in design‑build integration and coordination between design intent and field execution
• strong knowledge of PMC standards, practices and protocols
• proficiency in construction management software and project controls tools
• excellent leadership and team management skills supervising multiple managers, supervisors and trade partners
• strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility for large‑scale projects
• exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
• preferred: advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Construction Management)
• PMP or similar certification
• LEED or sustainability accreditation
• experience with vertical logistics planning and complex multi‑phase coordination
• background in architecture or engineering with construction application
• experience managing projects with the employer or similar large design/engineering firms
• familiarity with BIM and integrated project delivery
• proven track record in value engineering and constructability problem solving.
