Senior Operative - Store

Job description

The operative carries out warehouse operations such as receiving shipments, checking, order preparation and dispatch. Responsibilities include offloading, checking and putting away incoming consignments, picking and packing customer orders as required, ensuring proper vehicle loading against dispatch documents, performing scanning, cello wrapping, heat shrinking and labeling. The role ensures accurate stock replenishment, assists in stock counts and verifications, follows standard processes strictly, maintains machinery and consumables efficiently, stores items orderly, reports stock defects, keeps the warehouse clean, provides high‑level customer service, upholds health, safety and environmental standards per ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, reports all incidents promptly and does not misuse safety equipment.

Requirements

• Proficient in basic computer use
• knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• prior experience in warehouse operations or related field is advantageous
• high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• good physical stamina for manual tasks
• commitment, integrity, empathy and flexibility
• ability to work cooperatively
• compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
