Technical Services Engineer

Job description

The Technical Services Engineer will manage and coordinate engineering activities within the CAMO department, providing technical guidance to improve aircraft and engine performance and reliability. The role focuses on optimizing cost aspects of maintenance and engineering to ensure efficient and sustainable airline operations. Key responsibilities: provide guidance on maintenance, repair, overhaul and modification of aircraft and equipment; monitor defects, delays and engine removals, investigate causes and recommend corrective actions; review technical data from manufacturers and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance, performance improvement and cost efficiency; liaise with manufacturers and convert technical bulletins into internal documents such as Engineering Orders and Special Work Instructions; evaluate specifications for modifications and repairs and advise on specialized tools and equipment; review and update technical documents including modifications, technical notices and AMP amendments; coordinate investigations of incidents and accidents, initiate follow‑up actions to address component and system failures; support local modifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar discipline
• Suitable work experience in aircraft technical maintenance management within CAMO departments
• Deep knowledge of aviation regulations and manufacturers' technical data
