Planning Engineer

Job description

Responsible for ensuring compliance with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) regulations, CAMO requirements, the General Aircraft Maintenance Manual (GMM) and the Continuous Airworthiness Management Programme (CAMP). The role ensures efficient and fully compliant execution of aircraft maintenance activities through planning, coordinating and monitoring scheduled and unscheduled tasks while maintaining airworthiness standards and operational continuity. Ensure compliance with GACA regulations and CAMO, GMM and CAMP requirements. Schedule and monitor Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs) and Engineering Orders (EOs) within deadlines. Align maintenance planning with approved maintenance programs and airworthiness standards. Prepare comprehensive work packages for scheduled maintenance tasks. Ensure accurate distribution of work packages to maintenance teams. Monitor all planned tasks to guarantee completion within scheduled timelines. Plan and forecast replacement of High‑Time Components (HTC) ensuring timely supply and compliance. Coordinate with external Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centers for heavy maintenance such as C‑checks and engine changes.

Requirements

• Proficient in ensuring compliance with GACA regulations and CAMO, GMM, and CAMP requirements
• Proficient in scheduling and monitoring ADs, SBs, and EOs
• Knowledge of approved maintenance programs and airworthiness standards
• Experience in preparing work packages for maintenance tasks
• Experience in planning and forecasting replacement of high‑time components (HTC)
• Proficient in coordinating with external Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) centers.
